Rainbow Blanket CAL

The Rainbow Blanket is a stitch sampler crochet pattern being released as a crochetalong in Spring 2025. It is designed by Joanna of High Desert Yarn and Erin of Juniper & Oakes - two designers who want to help you crochet beautiful things.

Through crocheting this blanket, crocheters will learn 12 different combinations of fun stitch techniques and come away with a gorgeous blanket to give as a gift or keep nearby to keep cozy.

Joanna - High Desert Yarn

Joanna lives in Idaho with her family, two dogs, and slew of plants.

She loves to spend her time outdoors as much as possible. You'll find her in the backyard garden, riding bikes through downtown, hiking, or camping.

Joanna started crocheting at age 14 during winter school breaks with her mom. In 2019, she began writing crochet patterns, and it's blossomed into a love affair ever since.

Joanna aims to bring a little bit of the outdoors into to each design. Her patterns focus on adding texture and boho flair to the home. Also, they are written for the beginners who are ready to flex their crochet muscles.

Erin lives in East Tennessee with her husband, 3 kids, dying plants, and an excessive amount of crochets blankets.

She has been crocheting for more than 20 years and publishing patterns since 2020.

One thing you should know about Erin is that she loves hosting crochet-alongs. You may recognize her from hosting the Nordic Star Mosaic CAL, the Nordic Winter C2C CAL or the Mosaic Nordic CAL or the Bookmark Bonanza CAL or the Desert Flower Pillow CAL or... you get the picture.
